Download O2X – SEO Tool

The download is free and the 30-day trial starts the first time you open the app – no card and no account needed.

System requirements

Operating system	Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit
Browser engine	Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (included in Windows 11 and in up-to-date Windows 10)
Memory	8 GB RAM recommended (4 GB minimum); large crawls need more – the pre-flight check tells you how much
Disk space	About 40 MB for the app, plus space for your crawls (the pre-flight check estimates it)
Internet	Needed for crawling, to start the trial and to activate the license; the license is then checked every few days
Speed tests (optional)	Lighthouse needs Node.js and Chrome or Edge – the app installs Lighthouse for you; or use a free Google PageSpeed Insights API key

Install

1. Download the ZIP file and extract it to a folder you keep, for example C:\Program Files\O2X - SEO Tool or your Documents folder.
2. Open O2X - SEO Tool.exe. On the first start the app creates a desktop shortcut.
3. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info and then Run anyway. This message appears for new applications until they have built up a download reputation with Microsoft.
4. Read and accept the End User License Agreement, then press Start the free trial. Already bought a license? Choose I have a license key.

Update to a new version

Close the app, replace the program folder with the new version and open it again. Your projects, crawls and settings are kept, because they are stored separately in %LOCALAPPDATA%\O2 SEO Tool. New versions are free during your update period.

Uninstall

To free the license seat first, open License and press Deactivate this computer. Then delete the program folder. To delete your data as well, delete %LOCALAPPDATA%\O2 SEO Tool – or delete individual projects from the Projects page.
